Studio 54 —– Tarot —– Twinkle
3 for £15 offer at Urban Outfitters

Yesterday I popped in to Urban Outfitters and I spent ages looking around until I came across the nail polishes! They have an offer on at the moment so it’s 3 for £15, or it’s £6.00 for one individual bottle. I’m a sucker for promotional offers, so I grabbed three and went to the check out! I knew I had to have the one called Twinkle which is a clear glitter topcoat with pink and turquoise sequin stars. I stood there looking at it, thinking how amazing and cute it was and I couldn’t want for it to be mine! I found it difficult to choose the other two but I eventually went for a standard glitter polish (Studio 54) and a black one with small flecks of shimmer (Tarot). I’m looking forward to applying Tarot with a Studio 54 and I will post about these two at a later date.
It was love at first sight with the stars, though. I tried it on when I got home and posted a photo of it to Instagram (user name is tempsec). The way I apply it is to cover my nails with one coat of the small glitters and then when that’s dry, I used the brush to pick up individual stars and just dab them to secure  where I want them. Today, however, the stars have been falling off one by one so that’s why I’ve not photographed my nails 🙁 I will get a photo of them in one of my outfit posts in the near future, I’m sure! The thing is, the sequin stars are quite rigid and they don’t curve around the nail and so they stick out a bit which means they catch on to clothes, hair, seat belt, etc. The advantage of them falling off on their own is that it makes it easy to remove the rest of the varnish – always look on the bright side of life! The rest of the stars can be picked off easily and because the small glitter parts are really sparse, it’s actually really easy to take remove the varnish altogether. I still absolutely love the polish though and even if it lasts one or two days, I’m happy I bought it! It is the cutest bottle of polish in my collection!
