In between working this weekend, I found time to go out with friends for drinks, and also go to the cinema with my bestie on Sunday to watch The Dark Knight Rises. I LOVED it – but I love anything with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in. I wore this one evening during the weekend and then I toned it down for the Sunday movie and dinner! I thought it would be a good time to do a What’s In My Bag – a night out edition! Much more appropriate than my snack bag post! …Currently tucking in to the tub of Rocky Road mini bites!… I wore my new green top with a pretty and gold sparkly collar from Jolie Moi. The top also comes in a coral shade of pink. I think it’s coral anyway, it might just be red. This shade of green plus the gold sequins does make me feel rather Christmassy! Gold is the colour of the moment! (Well done Team GB!) I’ve been watching Elf on Film4 at the  weekend so have been feeling like Christmas in the summertime. I’m looking out the window right now to a grey sky, torrential rain, thunder and lightening! What has happened to our summer?!

So, what do I have in my bag on nights out?

Mobile Phone: I actually carry two around with me. I have a Nokia and an iPhone. The phone case is from Iconemesis and the illustration is by Gemma Correll. Iconemsis also sell Fifi Lapin phone cases which I know are quite popular. I haven’t photographed the Nokia because I was using it at the time, and I had it on my dressing table. I just grabbed it and put it in my bag on my way out. My Nokia phone is on a super long contract, and the iPhone is a hand-me-down and it doesn’t have a working simcard! Someone in my family gave it to me and I use it to take photos, using the internet, and instagram. I don’t carry a digital camera out with me anymore and the Nokia has a TERRIBLE camera! It’s not very good at all.

Make Up: Lipstick (MAC Lustering), Blush (MAC Pinch Me), Burt’s Bees lip balm, kohl pencil and a blusher brush – for topping up throughout the evening. A couple of hair bobbles come in handy.

Perfume: I have a small samples of Miss Dior in my clutch bag. I’ve bought this full size but I would never carry it around with me unless I had a bigger bag. It’s my favourite fragrance at the moment, and I always love their advertising campaign.

Sudocreme and hand-cream: Sometimes when I get nervous or anxious, I break out in a rash and the only thing that stops it is Sudocreme. I carry a small tube with me where ever I go, just incase!! The hand lotion is a sample from Glossybox, this one smells like kiwi fruit!

Purse: This floral heart shaped purse is from Primark and I think it was £2. It stores my money, cards and a few more hair bobbles and bobby pins! At the moment, I don’t have any other purses, I buy cheap ones and then replace them with another cheap on. In fact, I actually bought this floral heart shaped purse for my sister! She wasn’t using it so when I needed a new one, I just nabbed it off her! I lose wallets and purses all the time so until I can learn to take care of important things that store money, ID card and debit cards, I won’t be investing in an expensive one! 🙁
