Dress Topshop / Jewellery T:S / Coloured contact lenses* (non prescription) visiondirect.co.uk

Have had such a good weekend doing NOTHING but eat! Had the best Sunday dinner today, we had roast chicken, rosemary potatoes and minted peas. We have lots of herbs growing in the garden so decided to actually use them in our cooking today! For dessert, I had half a tub of peanut butter ice cream, I posted the pic on instagram (my user name on there is tempsec, btw!) and if you’re a fan of peanut butter, then I am confident to say that you need to go to your local Marks and Spencers and purchase some, you will love it! It’s got fudge pieces and chocolate coated salty peanuts! Best thing ever! I am still feeling a little ill after wolfing it down like a beast! I shoved a handful of Pringles in my gob afterwards as well. Why are they soooo addictive!!
Now about the dress! I am really unsure whether red suits me, I like it on the hanger and I like the print, but this shade of red is just so bright and I feel really self-conscious in it. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb! It is a really lovely dress, nevertheless, so I will get over it!
I am still loving my coloured contact lenses and this weekend, I made an order on Vision Direct for a set of hazel brown lenses. My natural eye colour is very dark brown so hopefully the hazel colour will brighten them up without the drastic colour change. After experimenting with the lenses, I find that I am able to get away with make up that didn’t suit me before such as hot pink lipsticks. I own a few bright red and pink lipsticks but more often than not, I will always end up opting for a coral shade. It’s weird how small changes can make a big difference. I usually wear orange and corals, or sheer pink. The lipstick I am wearing above is Full Fuscia from MAC, it’s an Amplified colour so it’s got great coverage. I won it via Grazed Knees ages ago and I absolutely love it. I don’t think you can purchase it anymore so I cherish it like gold dust! I will do a make up blog post next week and introduce what products I use on a daily basis. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, my gorgeous blog friends! x

  11. Ahh your dinner sounds amazing, I really must cook a roastie soon, its been far too long! Not so sure on the idea of peanut butter ice cream though – I really like peanut butter in sweets, cookies and ice cream but for some reason can't stomach actual peanut butter – eugh!

I LOVE you in this dress, I think its really flattering around your waist and is gorgeous colour, even if it is bright – Thats a good thing, promise! Your contacts are also amazing. They're honestly the first thing I noticed in these pictures before even reading the text, very bright and alluring.

    Hope you're well!
