These photos were taken last week when it was really sunny and I spent a lot of time working in the garden. I think I’ve been missing out because I don’t live conveniently close to an M&S, therefore, haven’t been trying much of their Jubilee food range. I managed to get a Jubilee biscuit tin as a souvenir, which will go nicely with the rest of my tin collection!
I love these Sunday catch up posts because I’ve got such a bad memory of what goes on during the week so this is a good time to sit and reflect! After going through a bit of a blip recently, to which the details are not worth going in to, I am guilty of spending some days moping and being sad but I have come to the quick realisation that it isn’t worth it. Life goes on. I have been determined to get back on track pretty quickly and with a good family, and good friends, I’m able to look ahead and look forward to better and brighter things. I spent Friday and Saturday with my sisters, we had a girly night in which was really good. We cooked fajitas, watched a lot of tv, played “chubby bunny” and laughed at Glozell’s Cinnamon Challenge video! One thing that really cheered me up was seeing Little Mix wear some Temporary:Secretary Jewellery on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man on Friday! I have also dyed my hair this weekend but I have a back log of outfit posts to put up where I’ve still go lighter hair in the photos (I’m so behind on blogging, still!) so I will reveal my new look later on! I met up with friends on Saturday evening and we had a lovely meal together, it was so nice to see them and having a girly catch up has done the world of good! I’ve also made lots of plans to go out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I can’t wait! I’ll try remember to take a few snaps on Instagram along the way – my user name on Instagram is tempsec! I’ve already built up a nice collection of cat photos on there so feel free to have a little nosey around!
Hope you’re all having a brilliant weekend! Enjoy the Jubilee celebrations! It’s party time! (Pardy with a D) x

  10. Oh this all looks so lovely! I'd love a chance to get out in the garden with a nice brew but alas I'm gardenless!
Hope you have fun for the rest of this bank holiday, sometimes it's nice to be out and about rather than slobbing (which is what I'm currently doing with a slab of victoria sponge!) and really utilise the bank holiday : )

And also HOW AWESOME IS IT THAT LITTLE MIX WORE YOUR JEWELLERY?!?

    xx

  11. Have a great time with your friends a good girly catch up is always a must. Well done on the jewellery front, I love little mix and the fact they wore it for Alan (MAZIn!). These cakes look so yummy Sarah, I think I've eaten so much cake over this weekend it's crazy. Oh my can't wait to see your hair!! I know it will be fab as its stunning anyways. Enjoy your bank holiday kitten xxx

  12. Aww your picnic looks wonderful! I think picnics are infinitely better than barbeques though I like them too!
That's great to hear that Little Mix wore your jewellery, how exciting!
I like quite close to an M&S and I'd rather not because I always end up there buying ready meals when I can't be bothered to cook after work which is not healthy at all. Their bakery goods are delicious xx

  13. Hurrah for staying on track, definitely the best way forward and nice one for getting out a little – Hope you're feeling better! These pics are gorgeous and I am now desperately craving cake 🙁 x
