Daisy print dress* – AX Paris / Bag TopShop / Sunnies RayBan

After a few stormy days, the weather has cleared up and I decided to venture out earlier today before it starts to rain again! It sure is grim up north! I am so eager for this month to be over, it hasn’t been a good one for me – I really need to get back on track in my work and personal life so I am really looking forward to July for a fresh and positive start! (There I go… wishing time away again!) Hopefully this navy daisy print dress from AX Paris will help me brighten up my mood! It’s got a shirred elasticated detailing on a large part of the dress, so it accentuates and gives the illusion of a nipped-in waist.
After checking out a few website last night, I treated myself to some new clothes and a new pair of shoes! I think I will buy a new bag as well, because this brown one is on it’s last legs. I wear it all the time and the buckle broke ages ago but I love the bag so much that I decided to keep it in hope I will be able to fix it. It seems like it’s due to bad manufacturing because the customers who left reviews on the TopShop website all complaining about the same buckle fault. It’s really annoying because their bags don’t come cheap!
I just want to say THANK YOU so much to everyone who left me advice on how to clean out the nail polish stain out of my dress. Lots of methods to try – I will give the hairspray and warm water one a go. I have the BEST blog friends! 🙂

  1. I used to have a daisy print dress, years ago and somewhere along the way it has disappeared. I totally forgot about it until I saw this. So thank you! I am inspired again to find a daisy dress. 🙂

  2. Oooh this dress is so pretty and I love the bag even if it is a little bit on the damaged side 🙂 I hope you get the nail varnish out of the other dress! xxxx

  3. Ooh I didn't know there was a way to get nail polish off of fabric! I must try it! I'm forever spilling nail polish, and got some on my boyfriend's bed sheets once – he was not best pleased with me!
I hope July is much nicer to you. xxx

  4. Really pretty dress! I like how it hugs in at the waist. Thankfully I was at work when it was raining this morning but it belted it down and then before I knew it, turned my head and it was sunny! I really hope this weather returns back to normal!

  5. This is definitely the type of dress I would wear! You look lovely (and I would also team it with my very similar brown shoulder bag) the elastic part at the waist of the dress makes it even more feminine! xx

  6. This is such a pretty dress – I love the elasticated waistband bit 🙂 I also love the way it looks with your bag! x

  7. This is oh so pretty on your Sarah! I'm so jealous you've had some nice weather, it seems like it's just been stormy all the time!

  8. I love this daisy print, it's so cute. And I use my brown bag all the time too! It just seems to go with everything, though mine is also on it's last legs! x

  9. Aw I hope July is good for you! Good luck getting out the nail polish stain! This dress is so pretty, I love daisy prints. Sometimes I think the quality of Topshop isn't the best, which is bad considering the prices xxx

  10. Such a pretty dress! Fingers crossed July is a fantastic month for you 🙂

    Samantha xx

  11. Cute dress! Your wardrobe must be the best ever with all those pretty dresses 🙂 I do hope you manage to get the stain out of your other dress.
I rarely shop in Topshop and when I do it's normally the jewellery section. I find their stuff overpriced for what it is and I can normally find similar in other high street stores. That bag is so cute though!
Thanks for replying to my tights question xx

  12. I hope this month goes better for you! At least you look adorable. The daisy print on that dress is so cheerful. That bag is gorgeous, I hope you're able to keep it a while longer. Pull through bag, you can make it!

May the force be with you.
    Emily
