T-Shirt and Grey Blazer Fashion Union / Hat Monki / Cardi Topshop
My second month guest blogging for Fashion Union’s Blog – I’m excited to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as Fashion Union.

For my next Fashion Union blog post, I chose an outfit of T-Shirt and jeans with a grey blazer. I chose a dress last time, so I thought I’d go for “separates” the second time round. The T-Shirt is lovely and comfortable due to its baggy fit. The t-shirt design is nice and not too garish.

When I was younger, I loved t-shirts that were colourful, loud and expressive…and sometimes very sparkly (honestly, diamantes were my thing back in the late 90s/early 2000s) – but now I’m older, I prefer a more simplistic style. The outfit works well with a casual chunky cardigan thrown over and a hat to accessorise. To be fair, the bowler hat isn’t something I’d wear out, but I thought I’d buy one to style my outfit for the blog. It was only £8 from Monki (via asos!).

  1. Absolutely love the t-shirt and how summery your whole outfit looks.

I haven't bought any coloured jeans this season (can't say I have the confidence!) but if I ever buy jeans they're normally from River Island, as I know the sizes are accurate and will fit! Although I recently have bought a couple from Topshop 🙂

    Great post as always!

  2. I bought a pair of pastel green jeans the minute they arrived in store, can't wait to wear them this summer 🙂

  3. The top is so cute! I only ever buy my jeans from Topshop, as I like the fit there. Some shops make their 'skinny' jeans too 'skinny' for my legs, so I always stick to Topshop!

  4. The print on the tee is really pretty! 🙂 I'm terrible at jeans shopping, they're always too long for me and never look the same if you have to hem them! I do want some coloured ones this season though 🙂

  5. You look absolutely gorgeous! So effortlessly pretty 🙂

I don't know if you've been told this before, but you look like CL from the kpop group 2ne1

  6. I've bought 3 pairs of coloured jeans, I wasn't 100% confident in them at first, they were a bit out of my comfort zone. I started off with a cobalt blue pair worn with a black top but I'm living in my green ones at the moment.

  7. Love the t-shirt its gorgeous and it sits so nicely with the blazer! I've never actually visited fashion union would you believe so I think I'm going to have to check out their jeans!

  8. Love this top 🙂 Denim is such a nightmare to buy for me, and I hate shopping for jeans with a passion! Topshop's Kristen jeans are my favourites at the moment, I stocked up on a few pairs when I saw they finally had them in my size online last week. For such a staple, easy to wear piece, jeans are such a palava!

  9. This t shirt is really cute! It reminds me of a few H&M t shirts I've seen in the past! Sometimes we all need a jeans and t shirt day 🙂 I've never bought anything from Fashion Union but holy moly, do they have a good selection of colourful jeans or what!? <3 xxx

  10. Sarah, you look so, so beautiful in that first photo! Absolutely love this outfit, the layered shirt, textured cardy and blazer are perfect together (:

  11. Love this outfit, looks so comfy. I finally bought a pair of mint jeans last week after wanting a pair for ages and I love them 🙂 xx

  12. you've teamed these items really well Sarah, i love the outfit and always enjoy reading your posts! i'm currently living in dorothy perks jeans; it used to be topshop but i just find the price for the quality appalling! i'd love a pastel coloured pair for the warmer days, but it's hard finding a petite flattering pair that don't break the bank. don't suppose you have any hints for where to shop, do you? xx

  13. I don't wear/buy jeans anymore because they never fit my legs! My legs are short too and they always need taken up even if they are petite ones. Sigh…though I'm happy with my skirts and dresses 😀 xx

PS These are really pretty pictures!

  14. Love this t-shirt! The print on the front is so pretty 🙂

I'm struggling to buy jeans myself at the moment – I usually buy from Dorothy Perkins but where one size will fit me in one style the coloured ones won't even get past my hips which is really frustrating! I'm tempted to try out Next instead xx

  15. Can't decide how I feel about pastel jeans. I really want some purple ones but think I would wear them twice and then forget about them!

  16. You look beautiful, your skin always looks so flawless in photos! I can't remember if I said already or not, but thank you so much for adding me to your blogroll! xx

  17. I love the tshirt! I love your Topshop cardigan too, very sad that it's old, but will definitely be checking out the tshirt. I have got myself some coloured jeans, I managed to find a coral pair in Primark that are actually a good fit! For £11 I was very surprised 🙂 xx
