Last Box Of The Year

Contents: Rituals Foam Shower Gel / Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish / Bionova Eyecream / Blink and Go Palette / Cargo Lipgloss

I’ve tried other beauty boxes but Glossybox is the one I love the most! This is the last Glossybox of the year and I think it’s safe to say that everyone that has received the December issue is happy with this edition! I got mine about 10 days late due to the hectic Christmas post, so I already knew what was in this month’s box due to blogs and YouTube reviews.
I am pleased with this month’s Glossybox, I know there’s a few variations. I LOVE it when there’s make-up in the boxes! There’s 3 this month (eye/blush palette, nail polish and lipgloss) Some got a mascara instead of the palette, and some got a face cleanser instead of eye cream. There two different palette colours too, but I go the dark coloured ones. This is the picture of other one and it looks lovely but I don’t suit bright ones so I’m glad I got the one I received. I am looking forward to use the the purple glitter nail polish, I haven’t worn glitter polish since late 1990’s! I used to buy them from Miss Selfridge, back in the day when they stocked make up (true story!) and I’ve been put off ever since because I dread removing glitter polish. Usually with a hammer and chisel! The Cargo lipgloss is amazing in that it isn’t sticky, I tend to stay away from lipgloss because I wear my hair down usually, and it’s horrible when the wind blows and hair gets stuck to my lips. Then my hair goes sticky and tangles together! I have been using the Rituals shower foam since I got it and I am definitely going to repurchase, and possibly try out their other products too! It smells really nice and it is nice bonus that we got a couple of full size products too! Not always the case and that is fine as the concept is that you’d receive five luxe samples each month but full size products are such a treat!

I'd forgotten all about Miss Selfridge make-up! I used to love their glitter nail polish and use to spend hours testing it all in the huge store they used to have in Newcastle. I'm pretty sure they even had a hair salon attached!

Ohh we got the exact same things! I love the Cargo lipgloss too, it's a gorgeous shade!

oooh i wish i'd gotten the smokey coloured palette! I got the brights.. even though I wont wear them its still a fab sample as I now know how nice and soft and well pigmented the shadows are so will definitely be checking out the blink and go range!..sorry for the rant but I feel some people forget the concept of the box! xx

have a beautiful christmas sarah, you definitely deserve it after having such a busy/wonderful year. i've yet to subscribe to a beauty box but for now i think i'm just enjoying what little spare money i sometimes have on something i want/need as opposed to a gamble on products. 🙂 all the time in the world for that, i guess. i'll be joining you on an attempt to save! love, jade. xx

I've never tried any beauty boxes but they look so fun 🙂 Like little surprises. I'll have to invest in a year's worth when I finish college.

I've never subscribed to any of the boxes because I figured I could save the money. But then I always end up splurging on other stuff rather than saving >_< lol

this is my first time on your blog and I really like it! 😀 I love your style. So new follower here 😉

Awh, I've always wanted to get beauty boxes in the post but I feel like after awhile the products would just accumulate and I would start neglecting them. I guess I can just swoon over other people's beauty boxes, haha.

    Happy Holidays, btw!

Thanks for sharing abt Glossybox. They have pretty packaging on top of the many good products they sell. These are what we call good investment I guess. 😛

I'm totally in love with the nail polish, but as it has stayed on for so long without chips, I'm hoping that the removal mitt will indeed do the job of removing it!

Oh I love the festive red box! I want to sign up for one of these eventually…but so indecisive and I know how hit and miss they can be. Anyways, hope you have an awesome Christmas Sarah!

That looks like a pretty decent box! Glossybox have just merged with a company here in Australia so this was my first month to sign up, havn't received it yet though but looked at spoilers and the goodies are nowhere near as great as the UK one, Jealous!

I've seen quite a few of these glossy box reviews lately and always wondered what they were because no-one has ever said haha. But now I kind of get it. Enjoy your glossy box goodies and have a merry Christmas lovely!

you wiki film endings before the film? nooooooo! that ruins twists! Made me laugh though as did all of this post.

I put glitter nail varnish on yesterday and had the EXACT same thought. Takes forever to remove. Unless it's peelable (does that make me seem scabby? haha)

  24. 23rd December 2011 / 8:49 pm

aw a festive glossybox, the fullsize rituals def makes this box seem worth it. I bought this exact shower foam as a gift for someone this year, my mum adores their teas and room sprays – they have some beautiful stuff.
    Have a happy christmas 🙂
