Shirt Lavish Alice / Skirt Topshop / Shoes Kurt Geiger / Nails No.7 Minty Fresh

I remember seeing a picture of Fearne Cotton in a similar blouse from Lavish Alice so when I saw this sheer blouse (pictured above) as part of their new range, I really really wanted it! The buttons are on the back so I find it difficult to fasten them myself! Admittedly, everytime I’ve worn this, I have worn it back to front (with the buttons at the front!)… No one has noticed yet…. or at least they’re too polite to say anything!
The shoes pictured above are the ones I got from Kurt Geiger. Definitely an early Christmas present to myself! I had wanted a pair of Allegra Chelsea Platform Boots from Topshop but I’m reluctant to buy TopShop shoes because they always hurt my feet. The Kurt Geiger pair are my alternative to Allegras! They give me the height I so desperately need!

  1. I've not heard of Lavish Alice before, but I want to check it out now. I love the collar and the buttons on the blouse, but I didn't think that they'd be really difficult to fasten because they are at the back. Congratulations on being featured in Bella magazine, I can't wait to read the publication :). xo

  2. The shirt is sooooo pretty! Scallops seem to be the thing at the moment! Laura of Lollipop26 featured a lovely scalloped shirt on her blog recently too!
I'm going to have to jump on the bandwagon with this trend. I love it 😀 xx

  3. How do you do it?!? How do you manage to look so wonderful all the time! I've just realised that my new glasses look a lot like yours! Maybe that was an unconscious association when I was buying them!

  4. I love your shirt, it's so cute! Could really be worn backwards and I doubt anyone would notice 🙂 it's beautiful!

And the KG's… every girl loves a pair of KG's! 😉

  5. i think this may be my dream outfit you know, this is so nice. i love monochrome and the back detail of that shirt is swoon-worthy. i would happily wear short sleeves in snow if it meant that i could show that off!

  6. This is so pretty! I love anything with collars on at the moment, and it's great that you can wear it both ways – makes it do more for the money you spent on it haha.

i love the boots as well – gorgeous post!

  10. That's possibly the most perfect blouse ever! Peter pan collar, polka dots, scalloped edging and little gold buttons = amazing! Love your new boots too! x

  11. The shoes were so worth it, they're amazing! And much less ubiquitous than the Allegras I'd imagine 🙂 gorgeous blouse too, the double collar detail is so cute x

  12. ah! cutest blouse ever! it look so so cute on you, and makes the outfit so perfect! ha I totally wear shirts ( and sometimes dresses) backwards too! sometimes it looks cuter. anyways you look uber adorable and you making me want to buy that shirt right. now.

  13. I like how it buttons down the back – very unusual! Also oh my, I love that teardrop shaped ring. Very Mawi. x

  14. Loving the Lavish Alice shirt, it's cute without being sickly overload. And I love the new shoes, the Topshop Allegras are all well and good, but these are definitely something a bit different, and I think they're much nicer.

  15. Such a lovely blouse! I have had that problem many times where I wear things back to front on purpose and the label decides to tell everyone- it then gets the snip; it brings it upon itself…
Those shoes are to die for! They look really sturdy as well, I know that sounds strange but I don't walk- I stomp, so delicate heels are a complete no for me 🙂

  16. The shirt is absolutely gorgeous, I don't blame you for sometimes wearing it backwards, I bet it looks good that way too! I love the boots, I think they are nicer than the Topshop Allgeras! xx
