Nail Polish Rimmel. Earrings Accessorize. Rings Temporary:Secretary
Warehouse generously asked me to choose a dress from their website (LOOK Mag prize), and I chose this black midi dress with gold buttons, and it came with the fuscia pink belt. When I received the Warehouse dress through the post, it didn’t come with the undergarment as shown on the site. I’ve just double checked their website right now and it appears I should have got the underskirt. Anyway, at the time I didn’t think twice about it, I was over-excited to try it on. I improvised with a black leotard and a bodycon skirt, and that is what I am wearing underneath the dress. I’ve styled the dress up with a leather jacket and a hat that Accessorize sent me. I will put the photos up of this in my next post.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my new necklace in the previous post. RubyGold very kindly featured my blog on their website after seeing that post, you can read their article here. I am just so pleased that they like it, it’s nice to be able to communicate with brands and hear what they think of blogging!

  1. Beautiful sheer dress and I love your blog!
Also where is your black leather jacket from? I've been looking for one for ages and this one seems perfect!

  2. Is Warehouse going to send you the undergarment for the dress – I hope you get it although I do love how you've improvised with it! I;m just about to read the article in which you were featured now. Have a lovely two weeks annual leave :).

  3. I love everything about this outfit, the nails, the rings, the belt! gorgeous! lucky you getting to pick something from warehouse website, definately a good choice 🙂

  4. Ooo I think I might like this one even more than the blue! Such a lovely length, although it's a real shame you weren't sent the underskirt, hope they sort that for you! x

  5. Wow I love that dress, it's so gorgeous on you. What a fab choice! I love that you and your mum are fighting over it. My mum appreciates my clothes but we definitely don't share the same style.

  6. I hate it when sheer items are shown with something under then dont come with one. This looks so autumnal and sweet, though maybe sheer fabris isn't best for a Newcastle Autumn/ Winter!

  7. The dress is dreamy, loved it! Navy is my favorite colour and the sheer fabric looks so light and lovely.

    And my, you are pretty!

    Have a lovely week xx

  8. Such a cutie dress, I love it! I also got those black shoes from Miss Selfridge that you wore to Look Fashion Show! I wore them to work on Saturday for our 'glam day' and they didn't hurt me at all! No sore feet for me! SUCCESS! 🙂 x

  9. Thank you so much for your lovely comment 🙂 I know what you mean about Topshop in the metrocentre, it always takes an age to pay for things in there! I love this dress on you, you should keep it – the length really suits you! x

  10. an amazing choice, sarah, you look gorgeous! the leather with it is proper cute, too. have a lovely time on your annual leave, i'm on half term for a week now and trying to make the most out of it haha!

fashion marketing sounds like an interesting course, i've always been into the whole side of fashion like that. hmm, might have to keep this in mind! (not like i'm like four years away from uni or anything!)

  11. Love this dress! Think I might have to have a cheeky "try it on" soon, but I very much doubt I'll be able to pull it off as lovely as you! Well done for winning the look competition. I didn't even know – this is how out of the loop I am at the moment! I obviously was rooting for you to win from the beginning though so… huge well done!! jealous of all your lovely prizes lol. xxx
