Our next road trip destination was to a place near Wensleydale (of Wallace and Gromit Wensleydale cheese fame). We went to Brymor Ice Cream. It is literally in the middle of no where! I might go each week until I’ve tried every single flavour. I had a scoop of banoffee and another of chocolate. Next time, I am going to try the Cinderella! (Caramel flavoured ice cream with pieces of cinder toffee and hazelnut)
Here’s what was on the menu the day we went:

I love going there but I wish that the seating area had more of a classic retro feel like this Ice Cream Parlour. It is such a brilliant business with a fantastic product, and as yummy as the ice cream is (IMO, the best in the world!) the seating area feels like a big shed at the moment! Because most people drive for miles and miles to get there, it would be nice if they made it more of an experience for customers. Anyway, after nomming on our ice cream, we went to visit the cows who’s milk made the ice cream.

Want to find out where else we’ve been lately? Check out our road trip posts here. We’ve had some fab recommendations so far; York, Canterbury, Sheffield, Cornwall, and of course, LONDON! Drop me a comment, and let me know of more great places in the UK to visit! 🙂

You guys are super cute, mmm I could do with some of that ice cream right about now!
Alas I worked pretty much straight through Easter, not that I celebrate it anyway. I did let myself have a couple evening's off to watch films with the fam, thought the laptop was in close proximity the whole time.
I have a fair in London on Saturday so have a lot to do in preparation, hopefully it will be worth it.
Wow I want to try Eldeflower ice cream!
And if you do come to Canterbury, drop me a line and I'll give you a guided tour!
black cherry whim wham?! i need that in my life.
i'm also a bit of a cow-obsessive so this seems like my perfect ice cream parlour! x
This farm is not too far from me, and they do the best ice cream http://www.bluebelldairy.co.uk/
