How secure is this store?
This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). All your payment details are strictly confidential and we do not store such information. Your address and email are not stored and will not be used for any other purpose than to send your order out. We do not share any address/email information with third parties.
How do we contact you?
You can email us your query, whatever it may be, we are here to help. You can use the Contact Us form or our email address is info@temporary-secretary.com. We can not take payment over the phone, all payment are made safe and securely via PayPal.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yep! We welcome orders nationally and internationally! We ship worldwide. PayPal will automatically convert the final amount to your currency upon checkout. We accept orders via our website only. We currently do not accept orders via the telephone or by mail.
How much is Postage and Packaging/Shipping?
P&P to the UK cost £2.95 flat rate per order. Parcels will be sent by 1st Class Royal Mail.
International Shipping will be by Royal Mail Airmail service and costs flat rate of £6.00.
There are no additional cost per item per order.
Please note that postage is non-refundable.
For our international customers, although rare, please be aware that custom charges may occur for parcels sent abroad and this is out of our control. Please ask your local postmaster for more info if this is of any concern. Temporary:Secretary will not accept returns or issue a refund if you decide not to pay these custom fees.
How long will posting/shipping take?
All orders dispatched within 5-7 working days. If an order is urgent, please email and let us know. All items are handmade and made to order, so please allow time for it to reach you. Please allow extra time, up to 14 days for personalised items (eg. Name necklaces). Please order with time to spare if it is for a special occasions such as birthdays because some custom items require adhesive to completely set & this can take a short while longer.
Parcels shipped overseas will take 1-4 weeks depending on where you are.
During the Christmas period, New Year and UK Bank Holidays, it may take slightly longer. We can not be held responsible for the delay around these national holiday dates.
Please note that once the order is posted out, the parcels are inevitably out of Temporary:Secretary's control and responsibility.
Do you exchange or refund?
We want you to be really happy and satisfied with your purchases. However, If you are unhappy with your purchases, for whatever reason, Temporary:Secretary will accept returns for an exchange of goods or offer a refund on the terms that:
- The item is unworn. Item MUST be returned in its original, unworn condition.
- It is in original packaging it came in.
- Email customercare@temporary-secretary.com within 7 days of receiving your goods to authorise a refund or an exchange.
Please note that custom design products such as name necklaces and earrings (for hygiene reasons) are non-refundable. Postage is also non-refundable. In this situation, the items will be returned at your own cost. As postage is non-refundable. Refund will be issued for the product only (excluding postage).
To proceed with the process of refund or exchange, you, the customer, must email us at customercare@temporary-secretary.com within 7 days of receiving your goods to arrange a refund or exchange if preferred/available. Requests for replacements/exchange or refund will not be considered after 7 days. Products that are sent back without authorizing an exchange or refund may not be resolved.
Feel free to post your items back in the same parcel box or envelope - we love recycling! Due to our jewellery being delicate pieces, please ensure that the parcel is wrapped to prevent breakage when in transit. Where ever possible, please use the original parcel packaging. This will either be a (parcel) box, or a jiffy bag that has a layer of bubble wrap. If this has been discarded, please ensure the item is wrapped carefully to prevent damage whilst it's making it's journey back to us. Returned products that have been damaged or worn will be returned back to you.
When returning an item, the goods are your responsibility until it reaches us, therefore, it is extremely important and essential to obtain proof of postage or use a service that provides a tracking number (eg. Recorded Delivery) as the refund may not be issued if we do not receive the item due to it being lost in the post or proof of postage was not obtained. We will not be responsible for items lost in the post during return transit. Upon receiving the returned items, Temporary:Secretary will then issue a refund to original source of payment or send out the exchanged item within 5 working days.

Jewellery care info:
As with most jewellery, whether it is fashion, costume or fine jewellery, aftercare is important to help its appearance overtime.
- Apply make up and perfume before putting on jewellery.
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
- Remove jewellery when cleaning or washing, bathing or swimming.
- When not in use, store jewellery in grip-seal bags (We can provide extras upon request)
Please note that our jewellery are not toys and they are not edible and are not suitable for children aged 5 or under.
Do you offer wholesale?
We do offer wholesale on some of our range so wholesale orders are absolutely welcome to independent shops and boutiques who would like to stock Temporary:Secretary items. If you would like to stock our products in your shop, (selling our products under the Temporary:Secretary brand), please get in contact by using the Contact Us form or email info@temporary-secretary.com
