The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Collection For Dry, Sensitive Skin
The Body Shop has launched a new range that’s specially formulated for dry and sensitive skin. I’m lucky that I don't suffer from dry, sensitive skin all year round but I know close friends and family members who have the constant battle of this, and searching for the right products to use so that skin problems don't flare up is a bit of a nightmare; the itchiness, tightness, and all around uncomfortableness.
If your skin has taken a battering over the Winter months or you find that it’s more prone to sensitivity than usual, try The Body Shop’s Almond Milk & Honey range* for it’s dermatologically tested, caring, gentle, and restoring formula that works with your skin’s natural pH and moisture levels.
Unlike most products from The Body Shop, the Almond Milk & Honey collection is actually not too heavily fragranced. It hypoallergenic, subtle, sweet milky fragrance comes from the sustainably farmed, organic almond milk sourced from Spain and Community Trade Honey sourced from Ethiopia.
The range includes all the usual favourites as you would expect from The Body Shop: A cleansing shower cream, an creamy exfoliating scrub, a calming body lotion, a caring cleansing bar, a protecting hand cream, and a restoring body butter. Prices range from £4 to £15, and there's a gift set which contains a selection of the essentials for just £20.
The shower cream and the body exfoliator are my favourite to use. Body scrubs can be a bit scary for those with sensitive skin but this one has a creamy texture with sparse exfoliating particles that isn’t harsh or rough on skin. It’s addictive to use, actually. I kept going back for more scoops. I realise I'm talking about it like it's ice cream, but seriously, I just want to apply this stuff on me all day long.
If you've ever had troubles or irritations with body exfoliator, then I recommend this Almond Milk & Honey cream scrub. If there's one thing you're going to buy from this range, it's the scrub. Don't forget to moisturise your skin afterwards.
