One of the most talked about beauty releases of the past 12 months is Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara. I’ve gone through 3 of these so far (granted, two of them were the mini sized version) but I really like them.
I don’t know why but my eyelash curler always go missing - probably because I use it as a proper for my blog photos sometimes - so it's a relief whenever I see Roller Lash at the bottom of my make-up bag.
You may be wondering what’s so unique about this mascara? Along with the formula, the Hook ’n’ Roll brush is developed to lift, separate, curl and set your eyelashes without the help of an eyelash curler. It’s great for those who aren’t blessed with long and curled lashes like me (damn my straight and short Asian lashes).
The mascara itself gives a natural looking lashes (ie. no risk of them looking like spider legs *shudder*) which is great for the day time, of course. If you prefer a bit of drama and volume to your lashes for an evening/night out, simple layer on a single coat of volumising mascara to give more of an ‘oomph’. You can read my full Roller Lash review from last year.
Talking of which, Roller Lash is 1 this month and to celebrate, Benefit have launched a limited edition mascara set, FREE ROLLIN*’, which includes one full sized version Roller Lash Mascara and a deluxe travel sized one - all for the price of one. The set retails at £19.50 for the set and I guess it’s available while stocks last.
