LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEAS
Desigual LOVE EDT*, Was £29, Now £15
It can be so easy to be blinded by all the high end designer perfumes and tacky celebrity fragrances but if you keep your peepers open, you can find gems like the Desigual LOVE Eau De Toilette. LOVE is a fun looking, sweet smelling perfume from Spanish fashion brand. Currently in the sale from £29 to £15 from The Fragrance Shop, the perfume would make a really awesome Christmas gift. LOVE has top notes of blueberry and blackcurrant, a heart notes of grapefruit and orange, and base notes of praline, sandalwood and tonka bean.
Love Glamour By Nazila*, £19.99
I am new to this brand and they say first impression is everything. Going off on the packaging design of this eyeshadow palette, I expected the brand and it’s website to be fun, quirky, and colourful. The website and branding doesn’t match the packaging design at all, which is a real shame. There are four really great looking make up palettes available from Nazila.
In the Dusk ’Til Dawn palette, there are 14 eyeshadows in a range of nudes, browns and black. Seven of the eyeshadows are shimmers and seven are matte finish. They’re pigmented and intense in colour but are easy to blend. The set comes with a dual end brush and a mirror.
Diva China Glaze Collection Gift Set, sale price £20 (was £39.99)
Wouldn't it be great if all hairdryer sets came with two bottles of China Glaze nail polishes? It would make them less of a boring item to buy because let's face it, hairdryers aren't the most exciting item to buy. However... pop in a matching set of premium nail polishes and the game suddenly changes! Diva has upped the ante with this gift set and along with the China Glaze polish, there's also a styling brush and three hair styling clips included. Whoever receives this gift will have just-had-my-hair-done-at-the-salon hair all year round!
Wet Brush*, £11.99
A hair brush might not seem like a good present. But us ladies know that if you find a good hair brush, it deserved to be treasured! When it comes to my hair, I have very low threshold for pain. Like, why is my scalp so sensitive, I don’t even know! For me, hairbrushes can’t be bristly, the bristles can’t be too compact, too thin, too spiky, too soft. I’m just really picky about it. When every beauty blogger was buzzing over the Tangle Teezer, I rushed out and got one. I was so disappointed because it still hurt and pulled my hair even though bloggers said it didn’t. Then came Wet Brush. Every one needs a Wet Brush in their life! Even though I REALLY want to keep this for myself, I already have two Wet Brush but I’m actually excited to gift this to my Mum as an extra pressie - she’s just as fussy as I am so I hope she’ll be as impressed with it! It’s just so good!
