Owl Dress ASOS / Bag ASOS

I'm quite scared of owls in real life (getting my photo taken with one at Primary School was a traumatic experience!) but I really like drawings of them so when I spotted this black and white skater dress from ASOS, I decided to snap it up! I love this other dress but I resisted and decided that I'm only allowed to pick just one! Not that I've really strayed from monochrome this year, not even for Summer, but this dress ticks all the right boxes for the new season. Dark coloured material, three quarter length sleeves and it looks great with or without tights. I just wore it out like this without a coat (LOVING the September sun!) and a pair of shiny black ballet pumps, and my little heart shaped handbag!

As you might have noticed, I'm tweaking a few things on my blog and you can already see some of the changes I've made so far which include a new logo, navigation menu, renamed Oscar's tab to "cuddly pets" so that Bonnie the dog can get involved too, and I've also added a new "About Me" page (something I've been putting off for two years). I'll continue to make small changes which you'll begin to see in the next few days, but it's nothing too drastic! I just wanted to tidy things up and make it look more "professional"!
