Two weeks ago, I was invited to the launch of Jules B latest store opening. I first became aware of the brand over a year ago when they tweeted about an offer on their Mulberry bags and I decided to make my first (and only) Mulberry purchase for a black and gold Tillie Satchel. After a bit of buyer's remorse, I went back on their website to browse a bit more and to find out further information on Jules B.

I am lucky enough to get invited to events, but not fortunate enough to be able to afford frequent impromptu trips to London. Every now and then, I get opportunities close to where I live and so when I was invited to the Jules B launch and was informed it would be within travelling distance, I made sure I RSVP'd attending! I was asked to cover the launch on my blog and this is the first of three Jules B blogposts. The next post will be about the beautiful clothes and accessories that the brand stocks. For now, though, I will introduce to you the brand and the store.

Even if you're not living near a boutique, you can enjoy browsing from the website, everything they stock in the shop is also available online. They are based in the north, and have several shops around the area. The latest addition is located in Yarm, an affluent market town in Stockton-On-Tees. The lovely Emma from Jules B invited me along to the launch and I was excited to see the shop and browse the products the brand has got to offer. The decor is trendy and up-to-date, really feminine and fashionable. The checkout counter is gorgeous, and the wall feature quotes from influential individuals within popular culture and fashion industry.

We were shown around the boutique which has two floors and the moment you walk in, you get a real sense of high end fashion all around! Each rail is filled with this season's collections from some of the best designers such as McQ by Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Lulu Guinness, and Moschino's Cheap and Chic line. I felt like squeeling like Carrie Bradshaw when I walked round and spotted the shoe section. It is like walking in to a massive walk-in wardrobe! I wanted to try everything on! I will feature some of my favourite items in my next Jules B blog post. For the evening, I wore a tunic from Topshop, biker jacket from ASOS, jewellery from my shop, and my Mulberry bag.

Cowboy Shirt

Shirt and Shorts* Glamorous / Bag ASOS / Jewellery T:S / Watch Swatch

Do you all like my embroidered cowboy shirt? When I saw it on the website, I thought the fabric was quite rigid but it's a lovely floaty material, which makes it easier to tuck in to jeans or shorts. The shirt has been featured in Grazia and Glamorous has been giving one away on their Facebook page this week (the giveaway has now closed), but it sounds like the embroidered shirt has been very popular! This is my second pair of studded denim shorts from Glamorous, the colour of the denim is nice, different to all the other blue denim shorts I own, and I really love the fit of these. Not too short unlike some of the high street ones. Actually, I recently learnt that the short shorts from Topshop are called Knicker Shorts! Sounds about right!

I'm usually more of a Summer girl, I love the warm weather and brighter colour fashion, but recently, I've been in to darker colours as I fill my wardrobe up with new clothes, this has made me look forward to colder days more. I just want to wear all my new clothes, sometimes all at once! I'm so fickle! I need little things like that to keep me positive during Autumn and Winter, these months really make me feel a bit down! The floods have caused chaos, how depressing :( We drove back home the other night and half of the time, it was like we were driving in the sea, sooo scary! Hope things aren't too bad where you are. x

Tartan Shirt* Lavish Alice | Leggings American Apparel | Boots Office | Jewellery T:S | Satchel Bag ASOS

I have an one tartan shirt from my student days which I wear all the time and I am really pleased to have a new one to wear. When I showed my mum my new shirt which is from Lavish Alice, she joked "They knew you liked tartan shirts, did they?" referring to how much I used to wear my Topshop ones! The one from Lavish Alice is really cute though, it has got really lovely details such as a faux leather collar and gold coloured angel wings on the collar tips. The wings are brooches so can be detached, especially important when putting the shirt in to the wash! It will be a nice accessory to put on other shirts too. It has got long sleeves but there are tabs to hold them up if you wish to wear the sleeves rolled up like I have.

I've had a couple of emails from girls who have asked where I got my tan satchel from because they can't find it on the ASOS site. It was sold out at the time they emailed me and I have replied to them individually but incase anyone else had their eye on the bag, I thought I would mention that it is now back in stock. I bought it about six months ago and it used to come in a few colours but I can only see the tan one on the website at the moment. It's the best colour anyway :)

A quick end note to announce that Charli is the winner for the Strobe Watch giveaway. It's on it's way to you!

Sparkly Button Stand

Shirt* Glamorous / Skirt and shoes Topshop / Cardigan Primark / Watch* Sekonda / Hat Monki

This is what I wore yesterday, I am currently in my Sunday slacks - clothes with holes in them and it's not a pretty sight! It hasn't shown up very well in these photos, they just look like white dots but the button stand is embellished with lots of sparkly diamantes. I'm a fan of sparkles when it's not OTT and I think having them sewn on the button stand is the perfect amount so can be worn in the day time as well as evenings.  This top from Glamorous is a sleeveless blouse but wearing my £6.00 cardigan over it keeps it appropriate for September weather!

It was really sunny earlier on and we planned to go to the ice cream parlour! I think we're going to go anyway, no matter how cold it gets, I need ice cream!!!! Off to get ready, need to get out of slacks and in to something warmer! I feel like I'm constantly in a rush this week! Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday! x
